You can check the log file location in /etc/vz/vz.conf

# Logging parameters
LOGGING=yes
LOGFILE=/var/log/vzctl.log ---> this is the location

tail -f /var/log/vzctl.log

vzctl : CT 432 : Performing postcreate actions
